Who we are and what we're about:
The Mighty Tykes Activity Camp provides an opportunity for boys and girls to make new friends, learn new games, and have a great time!
The goal of the Mighty Tykes Activity Camp is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle in a safe and welcoming environment. Our campers will be introduced to numerous different sports, games and activities.
We do our very best to provide a great opportunity for children to take an interest in different activities that they otherwise may not be introduced to and to meet new friends from other local schools.
Our campers will learn basic skills and the fundamentals of a variety of sports with the emphasis being placed on participation, fairness, respect and, above all, FUN!
What activities will we be doing?
| soccer | basketball | dodgeball | capture the flag | parachute games | winds of ancaster |
| monkey ball | chicken soup | asteroid | aliens from Mars | auto wrecker | pylon ball |
| relay races | volley catch | talent show | theme days | arts and crafts | and many, many more! |
Why choose us?
At the Mighty Tykes Activity Camp we are aware that there are a lot of different
camps to choose from. We also know that it is important to choose the camp that best
suits your child. We are committed to do our best to ensure that your child has a memorable
week full of fun and excitement. Here are some more reasons why we think you should
choose us:
- Mighty Tykes Activity Camp is owned and run by a local elementary school teacher. Most of our councillors are also teachers and have had a great deal of experience playing and coaching a wide variety of sports at both recreational and competitive levels.
- We place a great deal of emphasis on sportsmanship and we teach that as long as we have fun and play fair, everyone wins!
- We offer a camp that is centered around what children want... to have a fun time with friends.
- Excellent facility with great resources and a very large outdoor area far away from any traffic.
- Since our focus is on having fun rather than on winning, our campers learn to play fair with a positive attitude.
- We limit our enrolment in order to maintain a lower camper/councillor ratio and to create a friendly setting where the campers know each other by name and can form greater friendships.
